Bruce Jenner's mum 'whole-heartedly' supports star's sex change

US Olympic gold winner Bruce Jenner is to become a woman, his mother has confirmed. Esther Jenner said she had never been more proud of her son and he deserved respect for the courage it takes to undergo the sex transition. "I am more proud of him now than when he stood on that podium and put the gold medal around his neck. He deserves all the respect," she told Radaronline.com. The 88-year-old said she had "just learned about" his plans and she loves her son just the same.
