Thursday Oct 1st confirmed as public holiday by FG

The Federal Government has proclaimed Thursday October first as an open occasion to remember Nigeria's 55th Independence commemoration. The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Abubakar Magaji, made the revelation for the benefit of the FG in an announcement marked by the service's Director of Press, Yusuf Isiaka.
